Catered to local palates
Living in Singapore, there are several flavours that are unique to us that Edith Patisserie has leveraged on. Through the different crazes that Singaporeans enjoy, such as bubbletea and gula melaka, they produce cakes in those such flavors to cater to the local palate and join the hype. These cakes have received good feedback from customers and many enjoy these available options. They are also very pleasing to the eye and you might even feel unwilling to eat the cake because of how pretty it looks. But trust us, it tastes as good as it looks, if not even better. These are some cakes that we recommend if you are feeling up for a more “uniquely Singapore” flavour.
Pandan Coconut Gula Melaka Cake
A classic combination which will certainly tingle local tastebuds! Their Pandan Coconut Gula Melaka Cake is reflective of the Ondeh-Ondeh kueh, with a fragrant and moist pandan sponge between coconut filling layers of hand cooked gula melaka and salted coconut buttercream.
A familiar flavour that is a popular choice for many. Despite having so many sweet elements, the dessert remained incredibly silky and creamy without being too sweet. You can choose between a 6”, 8” or 10” cake size depending on how many people will be eating it. (Or even if it’s just for yourself, we don’t judge!) Best eaten 30-60min or until the cream is soft to touch. We recommend not to eat it straight from the fridge as it might be crumbly and hard to cut.
Matcha Bubble Tea Cake
Why limit yourself to only drinking bubble tea, when you can eat it as a form of a cake too? If you’re craving something sweet, this is definitely the cake for you. The matcha cake is topped with freshly cooked boba pearls. It not only looks good, but you’d be surprised how similar it tastes to your average bubble tea flavour. Green tea lovers would enjoy this matcha dessert – with that lingering slight bitter taste, yet sweet at the same time. With an unbelievably intense matcha flavour, it is the perfect balance between bittersweet. The only downside to this cake is that you have to consume it within 2 hours because if you put it in the fridge, the pearls will harden and give you that undesirable pearl texture that we all hate. Keep it in an air conditioned temperature if possible for the best texture.
Yuzu Matcha Cake
This refreshing Yuzu Matcha Cake is made from pure premium Matcha powder directly imported from Japan, coupled with a light yuzu chantilly made from 100% yuzu juice and does not use any artificial flavouring. Drizzled with matcha glaze and edible petals, the intense matcha notes from the cake layers do not compromise on its moisture. You are able to taste the heavenly compatible yuzu and matcha in a bite as the pretty cake remains soft and moist even after a night in the fridge. Definitely recommend this one if you’re a fan of yuzu. It’s refreshing and the matcha complements the yuzu flavour very well. It’s a unique flavour combination yet it works so well together.
Honey Chrysanthemum Cake
For a more subtle sweetness, a combination of chrysanthemum tea with mild hints of honey is used for this cake. Made of soft honey-scented vanilla sponge filled with chrysanthemum-infused cream, vanilla buttercream and garnished with marigold petals and pieces of white chocolate. The cake itself is light and moist and the chrysanthemum-infused cream is a good complement to the spongy cake. If you’re a fan of tea flavoured cakes, you might want to go ahead and try this uniquely flavoured cake.
Healthy Options
Let’s face it, when we hear the word “dessert”, the term healthy does not really come to mind. Many of us want to get healthier, but when dessert rolls around it is always hard to pass up. With Edith Patisserie, you can now have guilt-free, delicious and decadent bakes to satisfy your sweet cravings. They offer a range of healthy cake options that customers can enjoy, all while helping you stay steadfast in your health efforts and not feel guilty with your dessert indulgence. These are some healthy cake options that Edith Patisserie offers.
Vegan Banana Cake
Sweetened with pure Canadian maple syrup, you could probably never tell that this delicious and moist cake is refined sugar-free, egg-free, and dairy-free. The banana sponge is paired with a light coconut frosting, covered in desiccated coconut and topped with some natural, freeze-dried raspberries that adds that pop of color. For those with dietary restrictions, fret not because it is soy-free and made without honey. This vegan banana cake takes all of the guilt out of the normal cake and even gives you a delicious coconut frosting to go along with it.
Vegan Chocolate Mud Cake
Edith Patisserie has mastered the texture of their chocolate mud cake, mixing a rich ganache of chocolate with a moist and fudgy cake of chocolate. This cake is egg-free and dairy-free which makes it a perfect choice for children and those with dietary needs. It may be too sweet for some, but the fact that it is vegan may make you feel less sinful and indulge in it anyway. You can have it cold or if you like the fudgier texture, you can leave it at room temperature for a few minutes. This rich dark chocolate cake is healthy yet delicious. Win-win!
Fully Customisable Cakes
If you saw a cake design online and would like to recreate it but add a personal touch, Edith Patisserie offers fully customisable cakes. Ordering a fully personalised cake requires an extended lead time (minimum 3 weeks), subject to availability on schedule. Given that they have limited slots for each day, it would be better to plan and order in advance to ensure you get your fully customised cakes. All you have to do is provide sample pictures for their reference and they will do their best to give you what you want.
Various Cake Options
Whether you are looking for one-tier cakes, two-tier cakes, or just mini cakes, the options you can choose from at Edith Patisserie are endless. You’ll be spoilt for choice but you can easily find what you’re looking for with the sub-categories available on the website. Just choose the category (marble, rainbow, rustic etc) that’s most suited for your occasion and you’ll definitely find one that’s to your liking. We’re especially intrigued by the ‘Gender Reveal’ cake in which it allows you to, like the name suggest, reveal the gender of your baby through either a pink reveal for a girl, or a blue reveal for a boy.

If you prefer having pastries over cakes, Edith Patisserie also offers various different pastries such as brownies, cupcakes, cookies, macarons and even tarts. Some of their bestsellers that you should definitely try are the earl grey brownies, matcha blondies and mini bubble tea tarts.
